A warm welcome to L 'Etoile du Port - a beautifully and eclectically converted cognac warehouse, built in 1632 on the outskirts of the medieval market town of Saint Jean D'Angely, positioning visitors right at the heart of the Charente Maritime department. All rooms are ensuite and overlook this river and lakeside setting and have been recently refurbished in a luxurious and eclectic style by the English owners (who are also happy to provide free help and advice with local agents and house hunting!). The aim of L‘Etoile du Port is to provide relaxation, inspiration and value.
Guests are invited to make use of the impressive but relaxed "ballroom" salon.
All overlooking the lake and river of Saint Jean. Enormous salon for guest use. Central heating.
Suite 1 - double bed, table firepalce, 22 metres square including bathroom and loo.
Suite 2 - as suite 1 but 15 metres square. no fireplace.
Suite 3 - as above but 19 metres square and space for one or two single beds.
Restaurants very near.
