The ground floor is an open-plan design, comprising kitchen and dining area, lounge and separate wc.

The galley style kitchen is equipped with all mod cons including: cooker (gas hob & electric oven), dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, all utensils, crockery and cutlery. A childs high chair can be provided if needed!

The dining area has an extendable table and 6 chairs, and looks out through large french doors, onto your own private patio and lawns.

In the lounge area, there is a modern corner suite (converts to bed settee), 2 matching armchairs, large coffee table, TV (receives UK Sky freeview channels), DVD player, large coffee table and a wood burning fireplace. There are also a large collection of DVD movies available, a PS2 game console and games, a good selection of board games, books and lots of tourist information brochures for your enjoyment.

Upstairs, are the 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin - one has bunk beds), sleeping up to 6 guests. A childs cot can be provided if needed!

There is a large modern tiled shower room with wash basin and toilet.

On the patio there is further seating for up to 6 people, parasols and sun awning and barbacue equipement. All of course situated for you to enjoy one of the best views in the Dordogne.

All linen and towels are provided (except for beach towels). The Gite is also fitted out with electric radiators. There is ample secure parking space within the grounds.

NB There is a washing machine, iron and laundry items in a separate Utility room.

Don’t be deceived by the quiet rural lifestyle around La Treille, there’s plenty to do if you start to tire of relaxing.

Montagrier& Tocane St. Apres (2 miles) - La Treille is set between these two villages, just a 15 minute walk or 5 minutes in the car . Montagrier has a very popular auberge where you can dine either in the restaurant or on the terrace under the grapevine canopy. The auberge also doubles as an epicerie and tabac. There is also a stunning viewpoint looking over the Dronne valley just a short walk past the church. Montagrier also has a Mountain bike centre where you can hire bikes. Tocane has the type of village charm that only France can offer. Just the place for a walk to get your fresh bread!

We are also close by to the following towns... Riberac (largest market in the Dordogne on Fridays), Brantome (known as the Venice of the Perigord), Perigueux (with its designer shops and hidden alleyway cafés, Bergerac (steeped in history) as well as Beynac, Sarlat Les Eyzies & Domme.
