Tremolat is a lovely medieval village right in the middle of the dordogne valley. All local sights easily accessible. Vineyards, chateaux prehistoric sites on the doorstep. With a small grocery shop and weekly market and a nearby railway station it is possible to stay here without the need for a car if you wish. Two excellent local restaurants and a friendly pizzeria just at the end of the lane too.
