Our house is located in Ganshoren, in the northwestern part of Brussels. The capital city and home of the European Community commission is made of 19 « communes » and Ganshoren is known as a quiet residential area with many parks (Elizabeth's Park, King Baudouin's Park and the Laeken Woods). For international travelers, our home's location is certainly convenient : the Grand Place is reached in less than half an hour by public transportation, , the Atomium and Brussels Expo a mere 10 min car ride away. A 20 min cab ride will get you from here to Brussels international airport (Zaventem).
