Our gites are in the heart of a typical French hamlet quietly nestling in the beautiful countryside on the borders of the Dordogne and the Lot.
We have La Petite Maison - a delightful honey coloured stone cottage, or perhaps you would prefer Chestnuts - a quirky barn apartment on the first floor adjacent to the main house. Both have original stone walls & oak beams.
There is a pretty courtyard, complete with BBQ for dining alfresco during the long hot summer days. You can take a leisurely stroll to the local boulangerie where bread is baked over a wood fire and you can help yourself to the fresh herbs you will find growing on your patio.
We are located just 3 km from Gourdon, an ancient hilltop medieval town with its bustling markets, cinema, wonderful variety of pavement cafes, excellent restaurants and bars.
Gourdon has its own railway station providing, among others, rail links to Brive-la-Gaillarde, Cahors and Toulouse.
All of the low cost airlines fly into this area.
