The local area is ideal for walking, rambling horse riding, cycling etc Accomadation situated in a rural working village amongst peaceful surroundings for total relaxation We are 1hr from the coast of Figueira da Foz 30 mins drive from the university city of Coimbra.
During the summer there are many fiestas in the area.
There is a lively weekly market at Ansiao every Saturday approx 8 kms away.
November see's the International Horse Fair at Golega where people from all over the world come to see the beautiful Lusitano Horses and the wonderful horsemanship shown by their riders.
