Les Lavandes is a beautiful 18th century timber framed character house situated between the medieval town of Louhans and the sophisticated capital town, Lons le Saunier. This classic Bressane house, with its typical low overhanging roof, has far reaching views across to the foothills of the Jura; an idealic location to explore lakes, chateaux and ancient viticultural villages. There is plenty to do and see in the region including paying a visit to one of the many wines caves close by. We provide two comfortable double bedrooms with private moderm bathroom facilities and offer bed, breakfast and evening meals upon request. All meals are home cooked using fresh regional produce, some from our own large garden. Guests are welcome to enjoy the spacious grounds and sunloungers.
Six day painting holidays are offered all year round either working indoors or out on glorious locations. Fun tuition is provided in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Small groups of four are accepted so there is plenty of individual attention.
