Just a short distance from the sea, on the coast of Trieste, Marco and Furio offer you two comfortable double bedrooms each with private bathroom. This B&B is located in a small block of flats in a green surrounding, far from the noisy traffic and 20 minutes from the centre of Trieste. The building was designed by the architect Eduardo Gellner
The beach and the little port of Canovella degli Zoppoli (where in summer you can enjoy fresh fish proposed by the little restaurant there) is only a few minutes away on foot and nearby there is the Fishermen’s Path that leads up to the Karst Plateau which is an ideal starting point for walks along the “Salvia” and “Tiziana Weiss” scenic paths. B&B Canovella is set between two castles (Duino and Miramare) which overlook the golf of Trieste.
Guests are given information on the history and culture of the territory, the typical local food and wines and one day excursions to locations like Trieste, the Istrian peninsula, the Karst of Trieste and Slovenia, the Grottos, Lubiana and Slovenia, the Kasrt of Gorizia exposing the remains of the First World War trenches, Gorizia, the Collio, Grado, Aquileia, Cividale and the Isonzo Valley.
Public transport connects Trieste railway station with the Airport.
